Editorial policy

How Spain Eats researches, writes, updates, and corrects content about Spanish cuisine.

Purpose

Spain Eats exists to help English-language readers understand Spanish food as a system: regions, dishes, ingredients, techniques, and culture. We prioritize information gain and clear relationships between topics over publishing high volumes of thin posts.

Sourcing

  • Regional and historical claims should be grounded in established culinary references, producer standards (e.g., PDO/PGI where relevant), and widely documented tradition.
  • Restaurant or venue mentions are illustrative, not paid endorsements, unless disclosed.
  • We prefer primary culinary context (region, ingredient, technique) over recycled “top 10” framing.

Testing claims

We only claim kitchen testing when a recipe was actually cooked and checked by Spain Eats. Research-based technique notes may still appear on dish pages; those are labeled or framed as guidance, not verified lab results.

Updates and corrections

  • Guides are updated when we improve accuracy, structure, or internal linking.
  • Factual errors: email Sulemanwrits9@gmail.com with the URL and source. We correct material mistakes and note significant updates when practical.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made for reader usefulness. If we later use affiliate links or sponsored placements, they will be disclosed on the relevant page.

AI and originality

We do not publish mass machine-generated article spam. Drafting tools may assist research organization, but published pages must add clear structure, entity relationships, and editorial judgment.
