Spanish recipes
Cook Spain dish by dish — not as generic “Spanish food,” but with region, pantry logic, authenticity notes, and links into the rest of the knowledge system.
How Spain Eats treats a recipe
These pages are dish-first, not a dump of interchangeable “Spanish dinner ideas.” A recipe here should tell you the region, the pantry logic, what people usually get wrong, and where the plate sits next to neighbors — gazpacho beside salmorejo, Valenciana beside seafood rice, pintxos beside tapas. If a method fights the pantry (wrong rice, generic spice blend, stirring a paella), we say so. We do not pad pages with filler, fake kitchen-test claims, or invented restaurant stars.
Start with one plate you will actually cook or order. Read the region card so you know whether you are in oil-and-tomato country, a rice pan, or a bean stew. Then open the full guide. Tools such as the paella calculator are for quantities after you understand the pan. Affiliate product pages stay on products with live checkout on Amazon — no Amazon prices or stars on Spain Eats.

Paella is a Valencian rice system, not a free-for-all seafood casserole. Start with the cluster, then drill into Valenciana, seafood variants, socarrat, and pan technique.
